Schools You’re Proud to Have Your Kids Attend

Have kids or thinking about having kids? Cabool’s high ranking K-12 school system, the Cabool R-IV School District, has met Distinction in Performance in federal testing for the last five years. The Cabool R-IV School District, home of the Bulldogs, is a comprehensive school serving a student body of approximately 800 students from Pre-K to 12th grade. Head-start is available for preschool children, as is the Parents as Teachers program offered through the school system. The Cabool R-IV School District also offers the Cabool 21st Century Community Learning Centers program, a federally funded afterschool program for all three campuses that offers tutoring and academic, recreation, fitness, and crafts classes.

Cabool also maintains a branch of the Texas County Library.
